I’m not gonna appeal to any kind souls who’ve seen my beloved son Erickson handphone… I’m sorry to say that the search & rescue mission was an utter failure (spearheaded by myself)… But it has brought a fresh round of thoughts to my head…

I haven’t been blogging for some time already so I guess the loss of my handphone is somewad destined to keep me whining and bemoaning here…

.

Here goes…

My search for a replacement handphone made me realise that people change their benchmark from time to time, especially when they get too comfortable and used to the last standard. Its difficult to accept anything lesser than the last. I remembered that I ridiculed how silly it is to look for superfluous functions of a conventional phone, labeling as mere gimmicks.. but now I’m a sucker to these ‘excessives’.

So this’s wad I thought…

Alright I’ll just get a cheap decent phone, how much is that? !!! How bout that? Yikes!!! And the one beside? Ok.. looks not bad.. but oh no, that has no camera! Ok, I’ll up the budget a little, to have a cam at least.. but wad? It has a VGA cam only? Arghh.. ok, I’ll take it.. (Checks my wallet) but when I got home..

"Shit! This doesn’t even support a song ring tone!!! Poly-wad? Argh.. that’s ancient man!!!"

But after some thought underneath the sacred tree… I was suddenly enlightened! I thought…

Just be happy with wad ya got, count yaself lucky to not have to find a public phone to call..

It seems that as long as we’re contend with wad we’ve got, we’ll not groan bout wad we should’ve gotten or could’ve owned.. its all in the mind if you don’t have it in your pulse…
